All performance is state dependent.
Our psychology affects everything we do. As well as our mood, and relationships, it drives the way we approach problems, the way we perform, the way we plan and work toward goals. And yet few of us are taught how to make the most of it.
The course explains in everyday language how our psychology works, and introduces tips and techniques can be used every day (for yourself or with others) to be more effective by ...
getting problems in perspective, and clarifying outcomes and actions
being clear about what is in your control
planning medium term goals
effectively
managing time better
approaching problem solving creatively
In the programme, Chris Grimsley shares models and techniques drawn from NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming, a practical approach to psychology and communication) and other approaches that help us understand how we 'tick', and what drives our behaviour and performance. Developed from over 20 years training and coaching, this is the material that has made many people say "Why has no-one told me this before?!"
Section 1 looks at how our perception works, and explains how our perception affects our thinking, our thinking affects our feelings, and both affect our behaviour.
Section 2 introduces us to some top tips and techniques for working with problems and goals, that when applied can transform our own lives, and the lives of people around us.
Section 3 includes techniques to improve planning, by starting with the end in mind.
Section 4 shares a simple but effective time management tool.
Section 5 introduces a creative problem solving strategy
The course content is in bite sized lessons. Content includes video sessions with supporting graphics, additional PDF material and video footage from live trainings.
If you're looking for practical ways to be more effective in your work and life, (and help others to do the same), this course a great starting point.
This course content is intended for educational and self help purposes only. It is not intended as a substitute for medical advice, and you should always consult your doctor on all medical matters and conditions.

"This is an excellent programme. You will be hearing great tips and using some of the practical exercises within minutes of starting the programme. Chris has an engaging style and gets across the fundamentals of NLP in a helpful and practical way. He also makes you feel part of the programme. The use of practical examples and animations helps to reinforce the learning. I work as a coach and Organisational Development Consultant and can see the benefits of using this short programme to complement change programmes within organisations. I can also see the benefit of using it as a foundation for learning in management and leadership training as an introduction to practical psychology, and to encourage individuals to improve their emotional intelligence. Thanks Chris an excellent programme." Phil B.
“If you’re a line manager, HR or a parent you need to see and hear most of this. Not only will it change the way you look at people but it will also help change the way you look at yourself. Thanks Chris for putting this together and giving me the chance to make big changes. I was just blown away with the content”

"I’d just like to let you know that NLP has quite honestly transformed my life. I can only liken it to the key that unlocked a completely new way of thinking" - Karen L.
