MindFit
Practical psychology for leading and living in challenging times
Welcome to MindFit, practical psychology for leading and living in challenging times.
MindFit offers a collection of three online courses, with tried and tested content designed to help with common 'people issues at work.
The programmes are based on an understanding that our psychology affects everything we do - our mood, our relationships, our behaviour and performance. And yet few of us are taught how to get the best from it. Indeed, many of us spend more time learning to use our mobile phone and PC than we do learning how we ourselves 'tick'.
All of these affect not just our personal lives, but also how we do our jobs. People issues at work have a major impact on how the job gets done. Resilient, motivated staff who get on, are committed and well managed, and approach the task efficiently will do a significantly better job than people who are stressed, falling out, demoralised, and unfocused.
The MindFit collection has been developed to share easy to understand, practical approaches that help us make better sense of the way we 'tick', think, communicate and perform, improving our feelings, relationships, and behaviour, so we can be more at our best more of the time. The courses are designed for use individually, or by managers, teams and organisations wanting a cost effective approach to development.
This section begins with the Organisational Iceberg, a model for understanding the importance of both Task and human process at work.
The three included core programmes share models and useful techniques from NLP and other practical psychologies that help with common people issues.
Mindfit programme 1: Managing Yourself (for resilience, wellbeing & confidence)
Mindfit programme 2: Working with Others (understanding difference, enhancing influence, reducing conflict)
Mindfit programme 3: Increasing Effectiveness (avoiding blame, setting outcomes, successful planning, creative problem solving)
