Managing Yourself: Resilience, Wellbeing & Confidence
: practical self help psychology with everyday NLP
It starts with you.
Have you ever wondered what makes us 'tick'?
Do you (or your colleagues / staff) have some days when you tick really well, confident, happy, on top of things? And other times when its not like that?
And if you (or your colleagues / staff) could learn how have more good times, and few bad, would that be of interest?
Our psychology affects everything we do. It governs our mood, influences our relationships, and drives the way we behave and perform. And yet few of us are taught how to make the most of it.
This programme shares tried and tested models and techniques that help us understand how we 'tick', and to tick better more of the time. Developed from over 20 years training and coaching, this is the material that has made many people say "Why has no-one told me this before?!"
The course explains in everyday language how our psychology works, and introduces top tips and simple techniques can be used every day (for yourself or with others) to ....
- reduce negative emotions
- increase our sense of resilience
- feel more confident and
- enhance calmness and wellbeing
Content is drawn from NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming, a practical approach to psychology and communication) and other approaches.
Part 1 looks at how our perception works, and explains how our perception affects our thinking, our thinking affects our feelings, and both affect our behaviour.
Part 2 introduces The Mercedes Model, a practical framework for monitoring and managing our 'state'.
Part 3 describes techniques that can be used to change our behaviour to be more resourceful
Part 4 explains techniques to change unhelpful internal thinking, and replace it with more helpful thinking
Part 5 introduces techniques that can be used to access positive feelings.
The course has content in bite sized lessons, and includes video sessions with supporting graphics, additional PDF material, footage from live trainings, activities, quizzes, and opportunities to reflect, and plan to use the content.
If you're looking for practical ways for you, or others, to feel more resilient, enjoy more wellbeing, and be more effective, (and help others to do the same), this programme is a great starting point.
Course content is designed for educational and self help purposes. It is not intended as a substitute for medical advice, and you should always consult your doctor on all medical matters and conditions.

"This is an excellent programme. You will be hearing great tips and using some of the practical exercises within minutes of starting the programme. Chris has an engaging style and gets across the fundamentals of NLP in a helpful and practical way. He also makes you feel part of the programme. The use of practical examples and animations helps to reinforce the learning. I work as a coach and Organisational Development Consultant and can see the benefits of using this short programme to complement change programmes within organisations. I can also see the benefit of using it as a foundation for learning in management and leadership training as an introduction to practical psychology, and to encourage individuals to improve their emotional intelligence. Thanks Chris an excellent programme." Phil B.
“If you’re a line manager, HR or a parent you need to see and hear most of this. Not only will it change the way you look at people but it will also help change the way you look at yourself. Thanks Chris for putting this together and giving me the chance to make big changes. I was just blown away with the content”

"I’d just like to let you know that NLP has quite honestly transformed my life. I can only liken it to the key that unlocked a completely new way of thinking" - Karen L.
